Fresh Farm-to-Table, On Wheels
Once our essentials markets are up and running, we’re bringing back the idea that started HoodBasket: a mobile market cart that visits participating buildings with fresh, local produce—touch, pick, and take home what you love.

The Plan
This is on our roadmap, not live yet—here’s the shape of what we’re building.
A cart that comes to you
A mobile market visits buildings already using HoodBasket’s essentials markets, on a rotating schedule.
Partnerships with local farms
We’re building relationships with local growers in each city as we roll this out, city by city.
The farmer’s market experience
Touch and pick your own produce, the way you would at a market stand—just without leaving your building.
What We’re Building Toward
Local
Sourced from farms close to each city we launch in, cutting down on food miles.
Organic
We’ll prioritize partner farms practicing organic, sustainable growing methods.
Seasonal
What’s on the cart changes with what’s actually being harvested nearby.

Questions About What’s Coming
When is this launching?
We’re focused on rolling out our essentials markets first. Farm-to-table is next on the roadmap—join the waitlist to be notified as we get closer.
Will it only be available at buildings with a HoodBasket market?
That’s the current plan—the mobile cart will prioritize buildings already part of the HoodBasket network, then expand from there.
How is this different from the essentials market?
The essentials market is a fixed, 24/7 unattended kiosk for shelf-stable and refrigerated basics. Farm-to-table is a scheduled, staffed cart focused on fresh produce.
